Why do we request so many measurements? Since each fireplace is unique,
the more we understand about your fireplace, the better we can ensure that you
receive the mantel of your dreams.
The following is a complete list of measurements. Measure your
fireplace not the mantel.
______ A. Width of fireplace opening
______ B. Height of fireplace opening
______ C. Height from the top of the hearth to where the bottom of the mantel
will be
This is usually the top of the surrounding tile, marble or
brick.
______ D. Width of tile or brick surrounding the fireplace opening.
______ E. Length of hearth.
______ F. Distance that the fireplace protrudes from the wall.
If this distance is more than 1 inch there may be an additional
charge.

______ G. Distance from the outside of the fireplace to the outside edge of the
hearth.
______ H. Height of the hearth.
______ J. Width of the tile or brick surrounding the top of the fireplace.
______ K. Width of the tile or brick on the sides of the fireplace.
______ L. If there is any obstruction or restriction on the left of the
fireplace, such as a
window, door, corner, built-in bookcase, light switch, gas
lighter, etc.,
measure from the outside edge of the fireplace to the closest
obstruction or
restriction.
______ R. If there is any obstruction or restriction on the right of the
fireplace, such as a
window, door, corner, built-in bookcase, light switch, gas
lighter, etc.,
measure from the outside edge of the fireplace to the closest
obstruction or
restriction.
