The workmanship is superior , and I have looked for very long and the search my husband and I did was wide. My contractor just stared at it as he opened it this morning. He said, "this is definitely a fine, well crafted, intricate piece of work," and so far everyone that has seen it, either says, that's beautiful, stunning, extremely detailed, the beveled curved and edges, and the depth of work on the pilasters is too me rather intense to view. It is one of those pieces you wish you could take with you if you ever move, and we certainly will. From south Florida to southern California and back up to New York, Jack and I have seen nothing less than the finest presented to us from Carroll Mantels. The beauty, elegance, and design, is really incredibly beautiful. The thought of another mantel, just leaves us with one thought, Carroll mantels again. You took the time and had the patience to deal with every detail, and you did not overlook anything. The pressure of the sale is not there, and you hesitated if there were any concern that we would not be genuinely content with owning it. Careful attention was also shown by this extraordinary group of people, the Carroll family, about the concerns for safety, decor, color, and then some. You just did not leave anything out. The plantation mantel is stately, and bold, yet it is not overwhelming to the decor of a simple of overstated room, with even a baby grand piano in one room, or another room with simple paneling as a family room. Ron I just returned home from a business trip. I called home the other night and my wife told me that the mantel had arrived in a big shipping crate. She was very pleased that it had come so soon. The two of us opened the crate this afternoon. We were really pleased with the finished product. We set it up against the fireplace just to take a quick look. The dimensions are perfect. The funny part was, I was considering building one myself. Boy would that have been a major mistake on my part. My wife and I were at the hardware store this evening. We passed the aisle with the "do it yourself type mantels" and started to laugh. I had no idea how intricate in detail your mantel was going to be. I don't know if you or another employee actually built the mantel, but who ever did is a real craftsman. That mantel will really enhance the beauty of our home for many years to come. We were quite pleased by the timely customer service on questions by both phone and email. Furthermore, Carrolls shipped the customized mantel ahead of schedule. The only extra requirement for delivery was calling the Fed Ex Local Facility to schedule home delivery. They accommodated our scheduling needs, and there was no shipping damage whatsoever.
